SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday expressed grief over the loss of six lives in a road accident in Poonch’s Surankote area and directed authorities to provide all possible assistance to the affected families and injured.
Omar Abdullah conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
He directed the concerned authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment and care for those injured in the accident.
The Chief Minister also called for extending all possible assistance to the affected families during the hour of grief.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also condoled the loss of lives in the tragic accident.
In a post on X, Sinha said he was “pained by the loss of lives” and extended his thoughts to the bereaved families.
He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and said he had directed the district administration to ensure immediate assistance to those affected.
