SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday handed over an appointment letter on compassionate grounds to Vaishali Misra, wife of JK Police Sub-Inspector Sachin Verma, who died in a road accident in Srinagar last year.
Sinha assured the bereaved family of all possible assistance and support from the administration.
Verma, a Sub-Inspector of 23 Battalion Indian Reserve Police (IRP), lost his life in a road accident in the Nowgam area of Srinagar on August 11, 2025
The appointment was provided to his wife under compassionate grounds, according to the Lieutenant Governor’s office.
The administration reiterated its support to the family while handing over the appointment letter.
