The launch ceremony, held in Srinagar, was organised by the Mahamana Malaviya Mission and attended by senior academics, officials and representatives from educational institutions across Jammu and Kashmir.

Commending the initiative, the Lieutenant Governor said digital access to Malaviya’s writings would help disseminate his vision widely and ensure continued relevance of his educational and nation-building philosophy.

Speaking on the theme “Viksit Bharat and Jammu and Kashmir: The Relevance of Mahamana’s Vision”, Sinha highlighted Malaviya’s contribution to education reforms and his early advocacy of a curriculum aligned with industrial and national development needs.

He said Malaviya had envisioned a system of education that integrated engineering, industrial training, agricultural research and indigenous knowledge systems, adding that many of these principles are reflected in the objectives of the National Education Policy being implemented today.

The Lieutenant Governor said India was progressing with renewed confidence under the leadership of the Prime Minister, particularly in the fields of education, industry and economic development.

He also said Jammu and Kashmir had witnessed significant industrial growth in recent years under the New Industrial Policy of 2021, claiming that investment inflows over the past four years had exceeded cumulative industrial investments made over several decades.

Sinha called upon the youth to focus on continuous skill development, ethical conduct, entrepreneurship, community service and national unity as key pillars for personal and societal progress.

Senior officials, including vice chancellors of universities from Jammu and Kashmir, along with representatives of the Mahamana Malaviya Mission and members of the civil and police administration, attended the event.
