SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha laid the foundation stone of the Anti-Corruption Bureau Headquarters in Sidhra, Jammu, on Wednesday.

Lt Governor extended his congratulations to the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials present on this significant occasion.

“With this beginning, the government reaffirms its determination to effectively combat corruption and transform Jammu & Kashmir into a corruption-free region,” stated Sinha.

He urged all officials to approach their responsibilities with unwavering determination and an unwavering commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance stance against corruption.

The infrastructure, spanning six floors and including a parking facility, central police station, prosecution staff offices, and other related spaces, will ensure the seamless operation of the Bureau.

Those in attendance included Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary; Shaleen Kabra, Additional Chief Secretary; Dilbag Singh, DGP; RR Swain, Special DG CID; Anand Jain, Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau in J&K; Mukesh Singh, ADGP Jammu; Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary, GAD; Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, and other senior officers.
