SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Monday paid homage to Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his death anniversary.
In a post on X, the Office of the JK Lieutenant Governor wrote, “Humble tribute to the great unifier of India, Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Ji, on his Punyatithi.”

The post further said that Sardar Patel’s ideals of unity, integrity, and nation-building continue to inspire the nation in its journey towards building a stronger and self-reliant India.
Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel, commonly known as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, was an Indian independence activist and statesman who served as the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India from 1947 to 1950.
