SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday paid homage to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, remembering the civilians who lost their lives and reiterating India’s firm resolve to eliminate terrorism from the Union Territory.
In a post on X, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor said that the innocent victims of the 2025 Pahalgam attack will always be remembered, adding that their memories remain deeply etched in public conscience. It also conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and said their sacrifice will not be forgotten.
The statement further asserted that the nation stands united against terrorism, stressing a collective and unwavering commitment to eradicate extremist violence from Jammu and Kashmir.
Reiterating a strong message, it said that the perpetrators will not be forgiven and that India remains resolute in its vow to ensure terrorism has no place in the region.
The remarks refer to the April 22, 2025 terror attack in Baisaran Valley, Pahalgam, in which 26 tourists were killed.
