SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday chaired a high-level Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting in Srinagar to assess the security situation across Jammu and Kashmir, with preparations for the approaching winter season also forming part of the broader security review.
The meeting was held at Lok Bhawan and attended by senior officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), intelligence agencies and civil administration, including the Chief Secretary.
The meeting brought together representatives of various security and administrative agencies to review security-related matters and strengthen coordination among the forces and departments operating in the Union Territory.
The Unified Headquarters serves as a coordination platform for security forces, intelligence agencies and the civil administration to assess the prevailing situation and coordinate security arrangements across Jammu and Kashmir.
