SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will lead the main Republic Day celebrations for 2026 at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu, where he will also take the salute.
All government officers and officials, including those from Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) stationed in Jammu, have been directed to attend the function as part of their official duty. Heads of Departments and PSU Chief Executives have been instructed to ensure their own presence along with that of their employees to mark the occasion with due solemnity.
The Beating Retreat Ceremony for the celebrations is scheduled for January 29, 2026 at 4:30 pm at Maulana Azad Stadium. Government officers and officials, as well as departmental heads and PSU executives with their staff, are required to participate.
