The Life Insurance Corporation of India has signed MoU with the Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd at Corporate Hqrs Srinagar for providing Life Insurance Coverage to savings bank account holders of the bank under Pradhan mantra Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana- a scheme announced by the Government of India in the financial budget.
The MoU was signed by Senior Divisional Manager, T S Bali and N P S Oberoi from LIC of India and R K Chibber President and Mr Imran of the J&K Bank Ltd.
The scheme will give Life Coverage of Rs.200000/- between age 18 to 50 years in case of death due to accident or natural to account holders of the bank with very low premium of Rs.330/-.
