Three residential houses and a school building were damaged due to lightning in Ghati area of Uri town on Monday night.
Reports said that three residential houses belong to Moze Ali Shah, son of Mir Ali Shah, Sakhawat Hussain and Manzoor Hussain, sons of Syed Hussain, residents of Kala Ghati Uri were damaged on Monday night. A government primary school building was also damaged in a lightning incident.
Meanwhile, Zonal Educational Officer Chandanwari Ghulam Jeelani Khawaja said that he is on way to Ghati to access the situation of the said school, adding that the arrangements will be made for the students till the school building is renovated.
