SRINAGAR: A young man was reported dead by lightning, reports reaching from Anantnag said. It was a tragic death because the young man was killed in his own home.
Police sources said lighting struck the residential house of one Mohammad Shafi Wani at Thokerpora Siligam in Ashmuqam. It resulted in the on-spot death of his young son, Junaid Shafi Wani, 25.
The incident was reported to have taken place at 6:30 pm. The young man was at his residence when the lightning struck the house and killed the man.
