A power development department lineman was electrocuted to death on Thursday in Zogoo village of Khansahab in Budgam district of central Kashmir.
An official said that the PDD lineman Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Gul Mohd Khan of Zogoo Kharian received an electric shock while repairing an electric transformer in Bhat Mohalla area of Zogoo today in the afternoon resulting serious injuries to him.
Khan was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, he said. (GNS)
