Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday appealed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow Kashmiris to peacefully gather at Lal Chowk and hear their ‘man ki baat’.

Taking to his twitter handle Mirwaiz wrote: “Mr Modi all have been listening to your ‘man ki baat’ for years now. As you come here tomorrow allow us Kashmiris to peacefully gather at Lal Chowk so that you hear our  ‘man ki baat’! It’s just three words Resolve Kashmir Dispute. @narendramodi.”

Earlier, Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) had called for ‘Lal Chowk Chalo’ on Saturday, May 19 to protest the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jammu and Kashmir.

PM Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on May 19.

JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik has appealed people to march towards the historic Lal Chowk on the day to protest the PM’s visit.
