Army Sunday said that one local militant was killed while two others are still trapped in Pulwama area.
Army sources said that its 50 RR, CRPF and JKP are engaged in an “encounter” with suspected militants in Lelhaar area of Pulwama.
The army identified slain militant as Aadil Gojri. “He belonged to LeT,” the army sources said.
Reports reaching here said that the encounter started early Sunday while the area has been cordoned off from all sides.
The gunfight is still on while this report was being filed.
