Locals allege army of ransacking a Shopian village

Army on Wednesday allegedly ransacked many residential houses and beat inmates after locals said that the army arrested some youth from Nadpora village in southern Kashmir district of Shopian.

The locals told Kashmir Life that earlier a few youth pelted stones on a patrol party in the village.

Soon after the incident army troopers entered the village from all sides and started smashing whatever came in their way. They also arrested some youth.

Locals alleged the army men ransacked houses and beat inmates.
