Villagers in a Bakshi Bal Banyari Sumbal village foiled an attempt to kidnap a man by unidentified masked men.
The incident took place at Bakshi Bal Banyari village of Sumbal when unidentified masked men tried to kidnap Shaheen Ahmad Khan son of Habibullah Khan, a resident of Sumbal.
He was working in his paddy field when four masked men attempted to kidnap him.
The victim raised hue and cry which invited the attention of local inhabitants who rushed to the spot and with the result the kidnappers escaped from the spot, said locals.
