A Jammu and Kashmir police cop was on Saturday arrested in Manigam area of Ganderbal district after locals accused him of clicking photographs of a local girl.
Local sources said that a cop was found clicking pictures of a girl student at Manigam Bye Pass. “The girl student was walking on the highway and policeman was on duty.”
After the girl noticed him clicking pictures, she raised alarm, locals said. “The cop was then thrashed by the girl and some locals.”
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident and the accused has been arrested. “We have arrested the cop and a case has been registered,” A police official told Kashmir Life.
