LoP Sharma Meets Injured, Seeks Urgent Relief After Nowgam Blast

   

SRINAGAR: Leader of the Opposition Sunil Sharma on Monday enquired about the health and wellbeing of those injured in the Nowgam blast.

Accompanied by senior party leaders, Sharma visited Ujala Cyngus Hospital to meet the injured. He conveyed his heartfelt sympathies and assured them of all possible support during this difficult time. Sharma expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and prayed for their swift and full recovery.

Sharma, who was accompanied by former Nowshera MLA Ravinder Raina and senior leader Anwar Khan, expressed solidarity with the families of the victims on behalf of the BJP and called for immediate relief and comprehensive medical care for all those affected.

Notably, an “accidental explosion” at Nowgam Police Station late on Friday night, caused by substances seized during raids in an NCR city and transported to Kashmir by police, claimed nine lives and left 30 others injured.
