Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir Dilbag Singh on Saturday handed over welfare relief in favour of the police personnel who were injured during election duties in north Kashmir’s Sopore area.
A police spokesperson said that DGP along with IGP Kashmir S.P Pani met the injured police personnel today.
“DGP and IGP has wished for their speedy and quick recovery,” said the spokesman.
“The cops have been assured of all possible assistance and welfare by the senior officers,” he said.
“DGP said that department is committed to the welfare of its cops,” a police spokesman in a statement said.
