Army Sunday afternoon in a communiqué said, “in the ongoing operation along the LC in the Machil sector, which started in the early morning hours on 20 June 2015 in which an infiltration bid was foiled where one militant was killed, contact was once again established in the evening.”
“At around late evening, the troops conducting the search discovered a militant hiding in the area. In the exchange of fire that followed, one more militant was killed, thus bringing the total number of militants killed to two,” the statement added.
