SRINAGAR: In a noteworthy development for the remote areas of Kishtwar district, JIO, the service provider, has successfully activated a mobile network tower in the Inshan area of Warwan.
Following the recent activation in Sumcham village, this holds significant importance, especially in the winter months. The newly operational tower plays a crucial role in maintaining uninterrupted telecommunication services, essential for connectivity within the valley and with neighbouring regions. This initiative is particularly crucial given the difficult road connectivity issues arising from heavy snowfall in the region.
The District Administration Kishtwar, led by Deputy Commissioner Dr Devansh Yadav, has received praise for its coordination and facilitation in ensuring the timely installation of this tower.
