The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday ordered major reshuffle in the police department.
An order issued here by the home department said: SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail Parray has been transferred and posted as officer on special duty with Advisor to Governor Vijay Kumar. Dr Mohd Haseeb Mughal has been posted as SSP Srinagar.
Shailendra Kumar Mishra awaiting orders of posting in PHQ is posted as Commandant IR 7th Battalion (Ambgrota) against an available vacancy.
Rahul Malik, SSP, Security, J&K is transferred and posted as SSP, Bandipora in place of Sheikh Zulfikar Azad.
Gurinderpal Singh, SP (West) Srinagar is transferred and posted as SP, Kulgam vice Harmeet Singh Mehta.
