While emphasizing on providing the support facilities for youth, Chief Secretary (CS), Madhav Lal have asked Revenue department to fast track its computerization and up gradation process to modernize the functioning as part of the e- governance plan.
“Offices at district and tehsil level should be modernized, provided latest technology besides developing a database for making the information about the revenue records easily accessible to the public,” emphasized CS while chairing the periodic Committee of Secretaries (COS) meeting in Jammu on Wednesday.
CS took brief on status of SKEWPY initiative. He stressed on providing support to facilitate youth in launching substantial livelihood earning units in MSME sector, reads an official statement. “Departments should cooperate in facilitating youth to establish livelihood ventures and articulate their abilities” he said.
It further reads the committee also discussed matters pertaining to computerization and digitization of accounts in case of PSUs, result frame work document, promotions of officers and vigilance clearance.
