Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik reached Sedow in Shopian around midnight to visit the family of pellet victim Insha Mushtaq.
Reports said that Malik gave a slip to police and managed to reach Shopian late yesterday night.
“Malik visited Insha Mushtaq who lost vision in both eyes due to pellets.”
A JKLF spokesperson said that Malik later drove to a family of another 17-year-old who was killed during the current uprising and later reached Jamia Masjid Shopian to offer Zuhr prayers and address people.
However, the Mosque has been sealed by Police and police vehicles have been stationed at all the four entrances of the Masjid.
Meanwhile, while talking to Kashmir Life, Malik said, “I along with three other JKLF members are stuck inside Jamia Masjid Shopian which has been cordoned off by Police.”
A spokesperson of JKLF said that its Pulwama district president Javed Ahmad Butt, who was coming to meet Malik in Jamia Masjid has been arrested by the Police.
