Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a man who was allegedly indulging in a criminal activity inside a shop in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
An official said that after receiving an information from a man whose name they didn’t reveal, from Bongam Kulgam reported in police station Kulgam that a man is indulging in a criminal activity inside a shop. On this information, a police party raided the spot.
During the raid, it was found that a man identified as Sabzar Ahmad Mir, son of Gulzar Ahmad Mir resident of Arigatnu was found sexually molesting a girl (name withheld). The said accused, a tailor by profession, was arrested on the spot.
In this regard, a case FIR number 157/2018 under relevant sections of law was registered and further investigation was taken up.
