SRINAGAR: A man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in Labartala area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
An official said that a 45-year-old man from Labartala Budgam committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at home.
He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Budgam for treatment where doctors referred him to Srinagar, where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter and started an investigation—(KS)
