A speeding truck crushed a man to death in in Kralhar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as identified as a patwari of Ghulam Mustafa a resident of Gingal area of Uri.
A police official said a manhunt has been launched to nab the erring driver who fled from the spot after the accident.
A case has been lodged under relevant sections of the law.
The body of the deceased was handed over to his kin after medico-legal formalities, he said.
