SRINAGAR: A 30-year-old man who was attacked by a stray dog 12 days ago in Beerwah town of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district has succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred while the dog attacked him on his way to the fields. Despite receiving treatment at SKIMS for 12 days, he did not survive.
The deceased has been identified as Parvez Ahmed, a resident of Hardalatana village.
His death has triggered outrage among locals, who are demanding urgent action to address the increasing stray dog menace. Residents have urged authorities to implement sterilization, vaccination, and relocation measures to prevent such attacks. (KNT)
