SRINAGAR: A 27-year-old man died after suffering an electric shock in the Bandi Chichian area of Poonch district on Monday evening, officials said.
An official said that the man suffered an electric shock in Bandi Chichian and was subsequently shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Mandi for treatment.
However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Dishad Ahmed, 27, son of Abdul Rahim Tantray, a resident of Lari, Bandi, Sawjian.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation. (KNO)
