A mentally unsound person drowned in a water reservoir here on Sunday evening, police said.
“A 25-year-old Asif Ahmad Magray mentally unsound son of Abdul Rashid resident of Nowbugh Zakoora got drowned into PHE water reservoir at Chane Mohalla Chandpora Shalimar, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Harwan,” the police spokesperson said.
“The body of deceased was fished out and handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.”
