SRINAGAR: A young man from Boniyar employed at a Bakery in Singhpora tragically drowned while taking a bath on Monday, officials said.
Quoting officials, news agency GNS reported that, the incident occurred when the worker went to bathe and slipped into deep water. Locals raised an alarm and a search operation was immediately started.
After some time, his body was recovered from the water. He has been identified as Murtaza Bashir son of Bashir Ahmad Lone a resident of Boniyar area of Baramulla district.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident. Further details are awaited.
