SRINAGAR: A man died after suffering an electric shock while cutting tree branches near a power transmission line in the Tulmulla area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday evening.
The deceased was identified as Ghulam Nabi Bhat, son of Gafoor Bhat, a resident of Ladwuna, Tulmulla in Ganderbal.
He was rushed to SKIMS Soura for treatment, but doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
