SRINAGAR: A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Shellar Morh along the Express Highway in the Nagri area of Kathua district on Friday morning, officials said.
Officials said that in the morning, locals spotted a male body lying in an unconscious condition beneath the flyover near Shellar Morh and immediately informed Nagri Police.
A police team reached the spot and shifted the body for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the deceased was not immediately ascertained.
Police have initiated inquest proceedings, and further investigation into the incident is underway. (JKNS)
