SRINAGAR: The body of a man was found near the banks of the Jhelum River in the Wangipora area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Wednesday, officials said.
An official said that the body of a Bazipora Ajas man was found near the banks of the Jhelum River in the Wangipora area of Bandipora.
He said locals soon shifted the body to the nearby Community Health Centre (CHC) in Sumbal, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Later, the deceased was identified as Junaid Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Rather, a resident of Bazipora Ajas.
Meanwhile, investigations have been iinitiated. (NVI).
