Police along with Army and CRPF arrested a person with a grenade in Kulgam last evening, a police statement said on Tuesday.
The statement said that in a joint operation, Kulgam police along with 9-RR and 18Bn CRPF apprehended one person Bilal Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad resident Rampora Qimoh.
Upon his search one hand grenade was recovered from him.
Police have registered a case FIR No. 75/2014 under section 7/25 A, Act and investigation has been taken up.
