One person died when a shooting stone hit his head in Uri.
According to police spokesman, Alam Din Chechi son of Late Taju Chechi resident of Bagna Chechipora Uri got seriously injured when he was hit by a shooting stone in his head near forest area of Chechipora.
The spokesman adds that Alam was shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
He succumbed to his injuries on way to Srinagar.
