SRINAGAR: A man was injured on Sunday after a wild bear attacked him in Nowshara area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that a man identified as Mohammad Yaseen Chowdhary son of Mohmmad Yaqoob Choudhary, a resident of Nowshara in Uri was attacked and injured by a bear when he was with his cattle in the nearby forest area.
The injured was shifted to PHC Boniyar for treatment, he said.
The doctors at the hospital after dressing his wounds and discharged him, terming his condition suitable, said an official.
