A middle-aged man was critically injured on Sunday after a wild bear attacked him in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Reports said that a 38-year-old man identified as Nazir Ahmad Gojar (38) son of Abdul Rashid Gojar, a resident of Hayan, Palpora in Kangan was attacked and injured by a bear when he was grazing his cattle in the nearby Sindh range forest area.

The injured was shifted to sub-district hospital Kangan for treatment.
