SRINAGAR: A man sustained injuries on Wednesday in a low-intensity explosion in Jammu district.
SSP Chandan Kohli reported that a resident from the Chatha area of Jammu was injured due to a low-intensity explosion that occurred in his brother’s house.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the low-intensity explosive material had been stored in the house for the illegal purpose of animal hunting or trapping, stated the officer.
The injured individual is currently receiving medical treatment. A case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered, and an investigation has been initiated, added the officer. (GNS)
