SRINAGAR: A 70-year-old man was injured in a bear attack in the Zawoora Panthchowk area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Wednesday.
An official said that the man, namely Abdal Salam Lone, son of Ghulam Muhammad and a resident of Panthchowk, was attacked by a wild bear in the Zawoora area of Panthchowk.
As a result of the incident, he sustained injuries and was subsequently shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, further investigation has been initiated. (KS)
