SRINAGAR : A man was killed and 11 others injured after a vehicle skidded off the road and hit several vehicles in the Thadikassi Tandwal area of Rajouri district on Monday, officials said.
An official said the accident occurred around noon when a vehicle bearing registration number JK11G-8874 skidded off the road and collided with several vehicles in the area.
Following the accident, a rescue operation was launched and the injured were evacuated to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for treatment, the official said.
He identified the deceased as Munish Kumar, a resident of Dhani Dhar, and said the condition of the injured was being ascertained.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (KNO)
