SRINAGAR: A 45-year-old man was killed and three other persons were injured when a Sumo vehicle they were travelling in rolled down into a gorge near Near Challie Rajgrah in Doda district of Jammu.
Official sources told news agency GNS that the driver of the Sumo (JK19-2414) lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into the deep gorge. Chain Singh (45) died on the spot while three others, Gambir Singh, Swarn Singh and Bal Krishan (driver) were injured and hospitalized after they were rescued by locals volunteers and police despite tough terrain.
SHO Doda. Auran Sharma confirmed the death of one person and injuries to three persons in the accident.
