A 55-year old man was killed while another injured critically in Sopore outskirts of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district this evening after a speeding truck hit a bike they were riding.
The accident occurred at Seelo area of Sopore this evening when a speedy truck lost control and hit a motorcyclist resulting in critical injuries to both the persons who were traveling on a bike.
Both the injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Sopore where the doctors declared one of injured brought dead, local sources said.
Meanwhile, the hospital authorities identified the deceased as Abdul Rashid of Yaseen Colony Sopore while the identification of injured was not known immediately.
Police in this regard has registered a case.
