SRINAGAR: A man died on Friday afternoon after being struck by lightning in the Gunsaigam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Officials said that the deceased was identified as Tariq Ahmad Padder, son of Mohammad Shaban, a resident of Gunsaigam.
They said the incident occurred during a sudden thunderstorm. Padder was critically injured on the spot and rushed to a nearby health facility, where he was declared dead on arrival. (JKNS)
