A man was killed in a hit and run accident at Pallahan area of Pattan in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district late Friday evening.
According to reports a speedy four wheeler vehicle hit a man and injured him critically at Pallahan last evening and fled from the spot, however the injured was rushed to Sub District Hospital Pattan where he succumbed to his injuries later reports added.
The deceased was identified as Ghulam Mohiuddin Yatoo son of Mohammad Ismail Yatoo, a resident of Raypora Palhallan.
Police said a case has been registered and further investigations taken up.
