A man was killed after snow avalanche hit him near his house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Wednesday.
A police official from police station Ramban said that snow avalanche hit the 37-year-old man in Randgali, Halla Dhandrath area of Ramban district, near his residential house. The incident resulted in on spot death of the man identified as Salam- Din-Gujjar, son of Mirbaz Gujjar, of Charna Randgali. The official said that the house of the deceased man was also damaged in the incident.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the case and a police party is on the spot to assess the situation.
