A man died during a scuffle with his neighbour over the clearance of snow in Chaudra town of central Kashmir’s Budgam district Monday, police sources said.
Mohammad Amin, 42, son of Asadullah Dar was clearing snow from the rooftop of his house in Brinjan locality of Chaudra last evening. The snow, however, landed into the compound of his neighbour Abdul Gani Dar leading to altercation between the two.
The situation, sources said turned ugly when the two neighbours exchanged incentives and blows.
“In the scuffle Abdul Gani Dar allegedly hit his neighbour with a shovel causing his on spot death,” sources added.
Meanwhile, police have filed a case under FIR no. 32/2015 under section 302 and 34 RPC against the accused. (GNS)
