SRINAGAR: A man who had been missing for the last month was discovered deceased in the Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
An official informed the news agency KS that the deceased body has been identified as the missing person, namely Rafaqat Ahmad Kassana, son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Hariganiwan Kangan.
“The individual had been missing since 05/07/2023. Furthermore, the deceased body has been transported to SDH Kangan for medico-legal formalities,” he said.
He further mentioned that the body was recovered from a power canal in the Satrina village of the Kangan area. (KS)
