SRINAGAR: The Indian Army reported on Friday evening that they have apprehended a suspected individual in the Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to an official statement, army stated that a Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) had been established by the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Tapar Payeen, Pattan.

During the operation, security forces successfully apprehended the suspect and confiscated a pistol, along with other warlike supplies.

The Indian Army has affirmed that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.(KS)
