SRINAGAR: A Man died after accidentally slipping into a Power canal in the Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
An official said that Bashir Ahmad Wani Son of Abdul Gafaar Wani slipped into a power canal near power house Kangan.
He said soon after the incident a police team along with locals launched a rescue operation.
Later, the dead body was retrieved and after finishing all legal-medico formalities body will be handed over to the family. (KS)
